Hi Alyce,
My name is Monica. I'm the the new Head of Youth Services in Westerly. At my old library, in Massachusetts, I did put together early literacy backpacks. I developed them myself. They were extremely successful. They were originally inspired by the PPL early literacy kits, but they looked very different in the end result.  Let me know if you want more detailed information.

I’m thinking of adding some early literacy backpacks to circulate.  I was wondering if any of you have them in your collection. If so, did you put them together yourself, or if you purchased them already put together., where did you get them from? Any information you can give me is much appreciated.
