[Young Adult and Children's Services Discussion List] Incredible Years Parenting Groups

Bradley Hospital is  currently recruiting for upcoming Incredible Years Parenting Groups. The Incredible Years Parenting Series is an evidence-based program designed to strengthen parents’ capacity to foster young children’s social skills and ability to manage their emotions, as well as to learn ways to address behavior problems at home and school. In these groups parents also gain social support, develop confidence in their parenting choices, and reduce the stress that all parents experience.

One group will be starting in March (Thursday mornings) at Bradley Hospital for parents with children ages 6 to 8 years. A second specialized group will also be offered for foster, kin, and adoptive families who are caring for a child between 3 and 5 years. This group will take place in Providence on Wednesday evenings (dinner and childcare included) and will begin the last week of February.
