Event Description:
The Stewardship Mapping and Assessment Project (STEW-MAP) of Southeast New England is a survey and public database designed to map where stewardship organizations work and how they are connected to each other. The goal of the project is to strengthen community capacity for stewardship in order to advance the construction of green infrastructure and enhance climate resilience in this region. We hope you will join us for this short informational kickoff meeting about the Stew-Map project!

Who Should Attend?

Does your organization care for the land, waters, and air in the SNEP region (i.e., the combined watersheds of Narragansett Bay, Buzzards Bay, Cape Cod and the Islands)? Stewardship is a comprehensive term that includes the full diversity of groups that make communities and their environment healthy and safe places to live, learn, and play. This includes groups who work to conserve, manage, monitor, transform, care for specific living things, build partnerships, engage in place-based traditional gathering of resources for consumption, restore native habitat, prepare for environmental disturbances, fund or provide in-kind material support, and educate about and/or advocate for the environment. We want you to be part of the stewardship mapping. Please attend to learn more!
You are receiving this invite because you are on the SNEP mailing list, or because we identified your group as a possible stewardship group in Southeast New England, or both. Please share with groups you think should attend!
