[Watersheds] FW: MINI-GRANT OPPORTUNITY: Rhode Island Department of Health's Environmental Health Risk Assessment Program

RIDOH has two mini-grant opportunities of up to $4950 for organizations that do work related to conducting education and community outreach on environmental hazards and their potential impact on public health under its Environmental Health Risk Assessment Program (EHRAP).



OPPORTUNITY #1:



RIDOH will fund eligible entities to conduct community outreach and education activities that amplify and complement its federally funded efforts. These efforts may be related to a specific site of concern or more generally related to health-related implications of environmental hazards in Rhode Island. RIDOH may also fund eligible entities' efforts to support environmental health education and outreach within licensed early care and education facilities.

OPPORTUNITY #2:



RIDOH will fund eligible entities to conduct surveys on how, when, and where individuals are fishing; if they and/or their families are consuming the fish they catch; general fish consumption practices and frequency; and, their general understanding of the potential risks related to consuming fish.
