Finding space for stormwater management infrastructure in New England cities can be a challenge, but public streets offer a unique opportunity for a "green street," which incorporates vegetation, soil, and engineered systems to slow, filter, and cleanse stormwater runoff from impervious surfaces. This November 2020 webinar showcases the City of Burlington, Vermont's Great Streets Initiative, which created a vibrant, walkable, and environmentally sustainable urban center along two blocks of St. Paul Street between 2018 and 2019.
