The Casino at Providence’s Roger Williams Park
Calling all stormwater professionals, landscape architects, elected officials, resiliency specialists, and anyone doing work in the green infrastructure industry to present at the expo!
We are excited to host our Sixth Annual Stormwater Innovation Expo on October 16, 2024! The theme for the event is ‘Partnerships for Statewide Climate Resilience.'
We are looking for presenters and would love to have YOU present!
Presentations will be hosted indoors and outdoors. Indoor presentations will be about 30-45 minutes in length. Outdoor presentations will be about 15 minutes in length and there is the opportunity to do a demonstration if applicable. We especially welcome presentations related to landscape architecture and related fields as we expand our audience to include more members from this community.
Presentations about recent and current projects that focus on the theme 'Partnerships for Statewide Climate Resilience' will be scored the highest.
If you are interested in presenting, please send a brief description of your presentation topic idea and provide any existing digital materials that may be relevant to info at easternriconservation.org<mailto:info at easternriconservation.org>. The submission deadline is August 6.
Selections will be made and presenters notified by August 30.

The Rhode Island Green Infrastructure Coalition provides communication resources, trainings on maintenance of green infrastructure installations, and shared knowledge on successful sites and green infrastructure installations around the state.

The Green Infrastructure Coalition is a collaborative of more than 40 non-profit organizations, businesses, and government agencies focused on using nature to reduce stormwater pollution. We develop projects to demonstrate the powerful role nature can play to create healthier urban environments. We promote policies to create sustainable funding for stormwater management and green infrastructure solutions. And we connect a wide range of partners to share lessons learned in the Providence Metro area and Aquidneck Island.
