SNEP Funding Workshops March 19-21: Join SNEP Partners for Information Webinars on Upcoming Grant Funding Opportunities

The Southeast New England Program (SNEP), funded through the US Environmental Protection Agency, supports organizations working toward clean water, healthy ecosystems and sustainable communities in Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts.

Next week, SNEP partners will host on-line workshops to provide information on upcoming grant opportunities. Join us for one or all of these meetings!

SWIG25 will provide grants up to $500,000 to restore clean water, healthy ecosystems and sustainable communities throughout Southeast New England. SWIG IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS THROUGH APRIL 18. This workshop will provide complete information on the SWIG program for prospective applicants working in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.

Webinar Description:

This webinar provides an overview of the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Oldcastle Infrastructure Nutrient Separating Baffle Box (NSBB) system.
The Nutrient Separating Baffle Box (NSBB) is an advanced vault treatment system for stormwater runoff. Its patented screen system is designed to capture and store debris in a dry state to minimize nutrient leaching and allow for easy servicing. The NSBB’s triple chamber design affords high TSS removal over a wide range of particle sizes, while patented deflectors ensure no sediment scouring occurs during high flows. This allows for on-line installation without the need for separate diversion structures. The NSBB is a widely accepted stormwater treatment BMP among developers, civil engineers and municipalities nationwide.
