Massachusetts and Rhode Island Funding Workshops

Join us for the New England Environmental Finance Center’s (NEEFC) Massachusetts and Rhode Island Grant Funding Workshops. Many communities face challenges when addressing water quality, flooding and/or other climate change impacts – especially when it comes to identifying funding sources to support their projects. While there are a variety of funding programs available, navigating each program's requirements, determining which projects are a best fit for each opportunity, and crafting competitive proposals can be challenging.

Each webinar will showcase key state, regional, and federal funding opportunities for projects focused on water quality, water infrastructure, stormwater management, watershed/ecological restoration, and climate resilience. Representatives from each funding agency will provide a brief overview of their programs and opportunities. Additionally, the NEEFC will highlight a few free trainings, technical assistance, and funding resources available for communities, municipalities, and Tribes.

Representatives from each funding agency and assistance program will be available for questions following the presentation in zoom breakout rooms. Attendees are encouraged to come with questions and/or project ideas for discussion and feedback from grant program representatives.
