The Rhode Island Flood Mitigation Association (RIFMA) is hosting its 2026 Annual Conference on May 14, 2026 and registration is now open! This year’s theme is Planning for the Next High Water: Collaboration for Flood Solutions.  The keynote speaker this year is Marc R. Pappas: Director of Rhode Island EMA.

The annual conference is a great opportunity to learn about the latest in flood mitigation efforts, financing, and response strategies while networking with other professionals working in the field. RIFMA is also accepting proposals if you are interested in presenting at the conference on a flood/resiliency related topic.
