to RIDEM by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) under Section 319 of the federal Clean Water Act for grants to assist in the implementation of projects that prevent and/or abate water pollution associated with nonpoint sources (NPS) and to improve
or restore aquatic habitat.</span></p>
