RPG Training & Workshop

Wednesday, August 14th at 2pm at the West Warwick Public Library

This training is designed for librarians, teachers, and volunteers interested in incorporating Tabletop Role-Playing Games like Dungeons & Dragons into their programming or curriculum. The hour-long training session will provide an overview of tabletop RPGs, required materials, and best practices for running an RPG game in a public or school setting. There will be time for a Q&A. Immediately after the training session will be a workshop on basic game mechanics for Dungeons & Dragons that all participants are welcome, but not required to attend. The workshop will last about an hour to an hour and a half.


On Wednesday evenings from 5:30pm to 8:30pm, the WWPL hosts a number of Dungeons & Dragons games. All  attendees are welcome to attend after the workshops as observers or guest-players to see a game in action.
