[YART] Related but off-topic: Harry Potter camps

Hi everyone,

 

This is off the library circuit, but I wished to share info with you on an
organization I am working with this summer that does Harry Potter-inspired
camps for kids and teens over the summer. The flier I attached has info on
all there:

 

1.       Rainbow Wizards: a camp for queer youth in middle school and high
school.

2.       Theatrical Wizardry: a theatre camp for ages 8-teen

3.       All Ages Wizard Academy of Magic and Fun

 

I'm the "potions teacher" there and the organization is pretty great -
progressive, diverse, all-abilities friendly, etc.  If you know of any
families that are looking for this type of opportunity, please share or put
in your "community" paperwork area if that is your situation (I can send you
printouts through delivery if you'd like to opt into that so I'm not asking
you to use your paper).  While it conflicts with summer reading, it may be a
good match for families who require camps for daycare needs as well as
fun-summer needs. The camp is in Warwick.
