[Airresources] DERA Funding Opportunity

Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management is pleased to announce the next year of funding under the Diesel Emission Reduction Act (DERA). DERA reimbursement grants provide support for projects that protect human health and improve air quality by reducing harmful emissions from diesel engines. Attached to this email is the Request for Proposals (RFP) and both Marine and On-Road Applications. On-Road eligible projects are vehicle replacements, which involves buying a new vehicle and scrapping an existing one in your fleet.  Marine eligible projects are engine replacements, which involves buying a new engine(s) and scrapping your existing one. The application period will officially close on November 8th at 4pm.  A limited number of awards will be given out on a competitive basis.
