[Rimarinefisheries] Regulation amendment - open menhaden; close Tautog

Hello,

 

An amendment to the RI Marine Fisheries regulations was filed today, May
18, 2015.  In summary, the changes are as follows:

 

PART III - MARINE FISHERIES COUNCIL
7.1 - This filing is to OPEN the commercial Menhaden fishery in the
Narragansett Management Area at 120,000 pounds/vessel/day beginning
12:01AM on Tuesday, May 19, 2015; and to CLOSE the commercial Tautog
fishery beginning 12:01AM on Thursday, May 21, 2015.  [This regulation
becomes effective upon filing].
