[Rimarinefisheries] Regulation amendment - close commercial Black Sea Bass

Hello,

 

An amendment to the RI Marine Fisheries regulations will be filed today,
May 29, 2015.  In summary, the change is as follows:

 

PART III MARINE FISHERIES COUNCIL
3.1.4 - This filing is to CLOSE the commercial possession limit for
Black sea bass beginning 12:01AM on Friday, April 10, 2015. [This
regulation amendment becomes effective upon filing].

 

Please also note that following changes effective June 1, 2015:
Commercial tautog fishery CLOSES; and Commercial Summer flounder
Aggregate possession limit of 700lbs/vessel/week for participating
vessels.
