SUBJECT:       Regulation Amendment

 

An amendment to the RI Marine Fisheries regulations will be filed today,
September 4th, 2015.  In summary, the change is as follows:

 

PART III MARINE FISHERIES COUNCIL
7.1 - This amendment increases the commercial Summer Flounder possession
limit to 100 lbs/vsl/day and increases the commercial possession limit
for Bluefish to 10,000 lbs/vessel/week beginning 12:01AM on Sunday,
September 6, 2015. [This regulation amendment becomes effective upon
filing].
