Hello. We recently sent a listserve message out, and many of you received a "secure message" email with this message. There was nothing dangerous about the email, what happened was that the satellite phone number included in the message has the same format as a social security number, and this tripped a security trigger in our listserve system.
To repeat, there was nothing dangerous about the message, and the RIDEM Marine Fisheries listserve was not compromised.
We apologize for the inconvenience and the worry that this may have caused you.
