[Rimarinefisheries] Regulation amendments filed

Amendments to the RI Marine Fisheries regulations were filed on Friday, July 27th, resulting from the public hearing held on June 4, 2018, and RI Marine Fisheries Council meeting held June 26, 2018. .  The effective date of this filing is August 16, 2018.


  *   Part 1 - Definitions and General Provisions
  *   Part 3 - Finfish

Please be advised that proposed amendments to Barndoor skate have not been filed at this time.  The Division plans to file these amendments once the federal rule is published later this year.  Also, the proposed Research Pilot Aggregate Program for Commercial Black Sea Bass and Summer Flounder regulations have not been filed at this time.  The Division is working out final details and anticipates filing these regulations in the next few weeks. A subsequent email will be sent when these additional rules are filed.
