[Rimarinefisheries] Shellfishing Notice - Change to the current Conditional Area closures

RIDEM's Office of Water Resources Shellfish Program is announcing a change to the current Conditional Area closures due to the discovery of an error in calculating the cumulative precipitation amounts for this past Saturday's rain event.

Effective at noon today, Monday August 20, 2018 Conditional Area "A" will re-open.  Mt. Hope Bay and the Kickemuit River are also scheduled to re-open today at Noon. The Greenwich Bay Conditional Area remains closed and is scheduled to re-open at Noon on Sunday August 26, 2018.

As always prior to shellfishing in conditional areas harvesters are reminded to check the shellfish hotline at 401-222-2900 for the latest update.
