[Rimarinefisheries] Regulation amendments filed

Amendments to the RI Marine Fisheries regulations have been filed as a result of the public hearing held on September 10, 2018 and RI Marine Fisheries Council meeting held October 1, 2018.  Regulations filed are as follows:


  *   Part 1 - Definitions and General Provisions, regarding deletion, addition, and/or amendment of terms (effective date December 6, 2018);
  *   Part 2 - Commercial and Recreational Saltwater Fishing Licensing Regulations, regarding amendment and/or clarification of several administrative processes of the commercial licensing program, amendment to the timeframe that fishing trips must be documented, and new reporting requirements for Party/Charter vessels (effective date December 18, 2018);
  *   Part 4 - Shellfish, regarding amendment to the default harvest schedule for the Bristol Harbor Shellfish Management Area (effective date December 27, 2018).

For rules not yet effective, rulemaking documents can be viewed under the yellow "View Details" tab.
