[Rimarinefisheries] Whelk Minimum Size - Changes to rule

[RI Marine Fisheries]

Please be advised that rules (Part 4 - Shellfish<https://rules.sos.ri.gov/regulations/part/250-90-00-4>) were recently filed regarding Whelk minimum size, that was subject of a public notice on May 1 and RI Marine Fisheries Council meeting on June 1.  As a result of this filing, please be advised that Whelk minimum size is now measured as 2 ¼" shell height. Both shell width and shell length have been removed from the rule as measurement metrics.
