[Watersheds] FW: An update from the Narragansett Bay Estuary Program

The Narragansett Bay Estuary Program has scheduled two informational public meetings<http://nbep.org/01/wp-content/uploads/2017/03/Public-Meeting-Notice.pdf> on a draft Technical Report - "State of Narragansett Bay and its Watershed - Technical Report". The Estuary Program will be holding two public informational meetings, one in Rhode Island and one in Massachusetts, as follows:


  *   The Rhode Island public meeting will be held on Monday, April 24, 2017 starting at 4:00 PM until end of comments and will be held in room 280C at the Rhode Island Department of Environmental Management headquarters, located at 235 Promenade Street, Providence, RI 02908.


  *   The Massachusetts public meeting will be held on Thursday, April 27, 2017 starting at 4:00 PM until end of comments and will be held at the Mass Audubon Broad Meadow Brook Conservation Center, located at 414 Massasoit Road, Worcester, MA 01604.

The Estuary Program will provide an overview of the Technical Report and there will be an opportunity for questions and comments. The Estuary program will also be accepting public comments until the close of business on May 22, 2017. Comments on the technical report may be submitted to the Estuary Program by emailing comments to: info at nbep.org. The Narragansett Bay Estuary Program is presently uploading the individual chapters of the Technical Report through the Estuary Program's website: http://nbep.org/the-state-of-our-watershed/technicalreport/. The Estuary Program will revise and finalize the Technical Report and prepare a summary report based on public feedback.
