Come hear how the Boston Water and Sewer Commission, in partnership with Boston Public Schools, is engaging students in green infrastructure experiential learning activities, constructing rain gardens, partnering with watershed groups and connecting new curriculum with the MA STE.
This presentation will discuss practical, hands-on activities that can be used inside and outside the classroom as well as methods and benefits for designing educational opportunities into green infrastructure in the school yard and community. Presentation will also include why the Boston Public Schools decided to incorporate the stormwater green infrastructure curriculum district wide.
