The Southeast New England Program (SNEP) Network invites municipalities, Tribes, and nonprofit organizations in Rhode Island and southeastern Massachusetts to apply for no-cost technical support to begin or advance your community's stormwater management, ecological restoration, climate resilience, or sustainable funding projects and initiatives.

Services Offered for the 2026-2027 Solicitation Include:

  *   Water-related management and planning (including stormwater management and retrofit planning)
  *   Ecological Restoration (project assessments and planning)
  *   Natural Hazard Resilience and Preparedness (including ordinance/bylaw review)
  *   Funding and Financing (e.g. project scoping, enterprise fund feasibility assessment)

The SNEP Network is offering our popular Stormwater Planning Series for 2026-2027. This planning series offers free training and technical assistance to help guide you and your team through the process of developing a conceptual design for a nature-based stormwater retrofit in a selected drainage area in your community.

The planning series is held virtually with five 2-hour training sessions over the course of six months (October 2026 - March 2027). In between the training sessions, participants work with SNEP Network Partners to advance their stormwater retrofit conceptual designs.
