[Rimarinefisheries] NOAA Lobster Trap Transfer Workshops

NOAA Fisheries will be holding a workshop for lobster industry members and interested parties on the new lobster trap transfer program.  The workshops are intended to help lobster permit holders understand the process of transferring traps.  The annual trap transfer period ends on September 30.  

 

A bulletin is attached with the details on the workshops; the first workshop will be next Wed. Aug 26th in Gloucester at the NOAA facility from 10 am - Noon.  That session will be broadcast via internet and telephone conference line for those who are unable to make the trip to Gloucester.  The second session will be the following Wed. Sept. 2nd at the Fairfield Suites Hotel in New Bedford, MA from 6-8 PM.  That session will not have an internet broadcast and is in-person only.
