[Rimarinefisheries] Modification to possession limits and/or seasons for marine species regulated under quota

[RI Marine Fisheries]

NOTICE

1.       Beginning 12:00AM on Friday, October 22, 2021, the commercial Menhaden fishery in waters outside of the Menhaden Management Area fishery will open at one-hundred twenty thousand (120,000) pounds per vessel per day.  Beginning 12:00AM on Monday October 25,2021 the fishery will close, until the next sub-period begins January 1, 2022 at one-hundred twenty thousand (120,000) pounds per vessel per day.

2.       Beginning 12:00AM on Sunday, October 24, 2021, the commercial Black Sea Bass fishery will CLOSE, until the next sub-period begins November 1, 2021 at fifty (50) pounds per vessel per day.



Possession limits are subject to modification throughout the year; it is the responsibility of the licensed fisherman to comply with possession limits and all such modifications.
